My Specifications
Interior & Exterior
Whether it's a celebrity portrait or fashion or advertising, the idea remains the same: the images should speak a story that's beyond the obvious. I constantly strive to achieve that.
Product
Every product, from leather, to metal to food, and pretty much everything else, requires a technical correctness in approach, the light and the shadows, the composition, the use of different colors, to achieve the harmony that showcases it in the best light. It's an enquiry that I make, a conversation that I have, with the products that make it possible to realize the correctness in my approach.
Nature & Travel
Merriam Webster describes the word as follows: adjective: of, relating to, or involved in the perception of relationships (as of objects) in space. Beyond the physical design and aesthetics of a space, it's the spirit that it imbibes, the human aspect of it so to say, is what my images aim to capture.
Food
In my experience of photographing hotels and resorts, from five star properties to heritage to boutique and concept properties, I have realized that each one is unique, and thus requires a careful understanding of its character in the approach to its photography. The reconnaissance or Recce, therefore is often more important than the actual photography.
